Fight Flow Juniors and Teens: Building Life Skills

Is your child prepared for life’s challenges? Our program builds confidence, discipline, and self-defense skills.

At Fight Flow Academy in Raleigh, we take youth training to the next level by combining physical fitness with self-defense skills, confidence-building, and character development.

Our goal? To see young students thrive both on the mat and in daily life.

What Makes Our Program Unique?

Our Youth Program includes Fight Flow Juniors (Ages 7-10) and Fight Flow Teens (Ages 11-15), each tailored to support developmental milestones. This age-specific approach makes training accessible, fun, and impactful for every student.

  1. Fight Flow Juniors: Our Juniors learn foundational skills in boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Muay Thai through game-based, sports performance activities. This approach builds strength, coordination, and a love for movement, creating a strong physical and mental foundation.

  2. Fight Flow Teens: Our Teens program emphasizes mixed martial arts and self-defense skills. Additionally, optional classes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and boxing help them explore specialized interests and build even greater confidence.

Fight IQ: Building Real-World Self-Defense Skills Through Structured Progress

Our Fight IQ program is a unique ranking and achievement system that focuses on developing practical, self-defense-oriented martial arts skills across all fighting ranges. Students progress through structured levels that celebrate their mastery of striking, clinch, ground techniques, and the self-defense applications of each.

Every new belt rank and skill badge marks advancement in technical knowledge, confidence, and focus, ensuring that students build the physical and mental skills essential for effective self-defense. At Fight Flow Academy, every milestone in Fight IQ is a step toward martial arts mastery and personal empowerment.

The Core Values We Teach

Our program isn’t just about self-defense; it’s about promoting values that shape who our students become:

  • Respect for oneself and others

  • Discipline in pursuing goals

  • Confidence to take on life’s challenges

  • Resilience in the face of obstacles

  • Teamwork and support in a community setting

Building Skills in Jiu-jitsu (BJJ), Muay Thai, and Self-Defense

Beyond physical training, we help our students develop focus, self-control, and anti-bullying skills that extend far beyond the gym. Whether handling school conflicts or maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Fight Flow kids are prepared to lead with strength and empathy.
